My $.02. I sew a lot, and make all sorts of things out of polarfleece. I
ride in pants I've made, and they are wonderful when it is raining or really
wet out. They keep the cold air out, and the water seems to come to the top
so underneath stays dry. I also made polarfleece ear muffs for my helmet,
they are great. The fabric also dries really fast. It makes great lining
for rump covers too, and head bands, neck gaiters, etc.

If anybody wants to make a polarfleece cooler for their horse, a really
inexpensive way to do it is to buy a polarfleece blanket at Walmart/Kmart,
etc., and put some straps on it in the front to tie on the horse. That is
all there is to it, and you'll be into it for probably $10 or $12. You
could probably buy one big blanket and cut it in half to make two coolers.

Happy Trails!
