I used to work horses at the racetrack all winter in New England. Many
trainers did not clip and we gave BATHS after every workout...the solution to
drying the horse is TWO WOOL COOLERS!!! The top one wicks the moisture out
of the bottom one keeping the horse from getting chilled. You will notice
condensation and wettness on the top cooler and the bottom one will remain
dry and warm. We tied the horse in a coner of his stall with a haynet and
went to the track kitchen for an hour...they were almost all dry when we got
back. We also never had a sick horse.

PS: This should wokr inside your trailer on the way home or in a stall at
home. Not too much trouble, either. I put a hot water heater in my barn so
I can give warm baths all winter. No one gets chilled and no one gets sick.
AND, my horses LOVE their warm baths!!!
