DMG & MSM

I have followed with interest the discussion about the effectiveness of
DMG (or not).I hate to be a party pooper, but according to articles I
have read in Endurance News concerning AERC drug policy DMG & MSM are
substances not permitted to be in a horses system during competition. If
they are effective at all, I assume they would need to be present then.
Since more drug testin will be done starting next year, I would hate for
someone to get in trouble & not know they were in violation. There are a
lot of people on this list new to the sport who may not know this. I have
never heard anyone hazard a guess as to what the withdrawal times might be
on these substances, if a person chose to use them post-ride.
Stallions:Mine isn't spooky on trail. When we first started him the vet
checks were a real challenge.He's gotten better, but still needs extra
space.On trail, meeting oncoming horses on the same trail can still be a
problem. Geldings are more fun to ride in groups!(Don't tell Racer I said so)
