New Riding Halter

There were more than a few raised eyebrows as Kasey & I be-bopped down
the trail at the Allaire ride, Kasey wearing his brand new, never-tried-
before riding "rope halter". It's a continuous strand of yacht braid
with four knots at the nose and two rings to which you attach the reins.
Second half of ride of course. Kasey
loved it! In fact he was beside himself with his newfound freedom. I've
been using the Sleister hackamore--quite heavy with long shanks that make
it really hard for Kasey to get into a bucket, puddles, etc. This rope
halter really does the trick. Acts like a side-pull.

These come in a variety of beautiful colors, with matching reins. The
plain halter also comes with matching lead ropes. These are very
inexpensive @ $12 for the halter, $12.50 for the 10' lead, and $20 for the
riding halter (plus shipping).

Look for this new line of rope halters, reins, leads & riding halters at
the ECTRA meeting in '97--we'll have a booth there.
