Diane...from my experience, most of those airgates with the "dip" for
goosenecks do not have enough "dip" for our goosnecks. Try a board across
the back of the bed and a nylon windgate. YES, the windgate does keep you
from losing things..even better is a wind deflector on top of truck cab (also
keeps most rain out of bed while driving). Sorry, they don't help much on
fuel savings, but they are wonderful for keeping bugs off the front of the
trailer.
