I honestly think it was just a competitor trying to say their product was
better. I love, love, love my saddle. I use it on trail rides and
sometimes I take my dressage lesson in it. The stirrups are hung just
perfect and the seat soooooo comfy. I think what those folks didn't like
was the fact that since it didn't have a tree that riders would make their
horses back sore by putting pressure on their back where our seat bones go.
I disagree. I think it's the greatest. I just wish they'd come out with a
dressage model. I've never had any soreness from any of the horses. I've
used it successfully on four different horss, but recently I've added an
open cell foam pad to spread the weight a little more evenly, just in case.
