horse collars

Hi,
I have been reading the discussion regarding the horse collars. Here at
the KSU Horse Research Unit all the broodmares wear collars with numbers
on them for identification. The horse unit has done this for several
years, and to date has not had any problems, (famous last words). There
are about 15 broodmares, and they have been using collars for at least
the last four years. **This is not to say that the possibility for a
problem with a collar doesn't exist.

Also, my apologies to the group for the child-rearing question;
my son was asleep and woke up crying as I was typing a message and it just
popped in my head as it had been bothering me.

Happy Trails,
Dianna & JJ

PS Although it makes absolutely no difference to me you might be
wondering why my address gives my name as Diane and I sign my letters
Dianna. Why this is is a long story that's not worth retelling. Suffice
it to say that my real birth-name is Dianna, and Diane is actually
incorrect. However, if you all forget this it is no big deal to me.
