electrolytes

Just bought some Perform N Win electrolytes and some Ride-Rite electrolytes.
Just wondering if anyone had used both of them and which they thought was the
most effective in getting their horses to drink. I'm going to a 3 day ride
and need to find something that will get my horse to drink more in camp after
the ride. He drinks fine on trail. Thanks Diane for all the detailed info
on the different electrolytes. I used the Perform N Win electrolytes for
my older endurance horse, Travler, on a 50 this last week end and he did
amazingly well for his first 50 after being semi retired for a year.
I did mix them with Pro-Bi. I'm still not sure of the dosage since all the
directions I have for them say mix them with water. I'd rather give them with
a dose syringe than depend on my horses to drink them in a bucket of water.
I have put them in a bucket of water to see if they would drink but have found
the bucket dumped over. He didn't dump the other bucket of water over so don't
