Question: I have an old horse, pushing 30, who has reecently ie last few
weeks started behaving very strangely. When you catch him he freaks out and
gallops around you bucking and then runs away. He ignores food on the ground
and even when you put it right in front of him he only picks at it. He has
these bouts of freaking out and running in circles bucking. Then he calms
down and stands in the corner of his pasture for half the day.

Does any one have any clues, neurologicqal disorders, viruses, old age?
I am worried that if he is sick he may infect all the other horses. I am
having the wvet up Mon but would like advice for the weekend.

Thank you in advance.
