Re: Slipping Saddle Pad

I've just recently purchased a close-contact woolback
pad from Sportack. I'm very pleased with the wool,
but I've discovered that the pad shifts to the right
underneath my seat. It's not shifted so far yet that
the left side of the leather seat is resting directly
on my gelding's back, but we've only done 20 mile
training rides with the new pad. I'm worried about
slippage on a 50mile endurance ride, concerned that
I'll have to reposition the pad repeatedly.

My english saddle has no rear D-rings, and I've
covered it with a wool seat saver. Any ideas for
keeping the pad "centered" under my seat? (It stays
in place under the withers and flaps.)
