Stephanie - I am passing along the ride results for both the 50 mile and
100 mile Fort Armstrong Endurance rides - site of the 1997 ROC! - This
year, Fort Armstrong was also the Northeast Area 100 Mile National
Championship ride, and the IAHA Region 15 Championship 100 mile ride -
Sweepstakes - Unfortunately, due to brain cramps and way too little sleep
from driving and crewing, I only recorded the FAHA results, and did not
specifically record the IAHA and NCS placings

My apologies if I misspelled names - also If I missed anyone - I wrote
as fast as I could, and went back to get times/finish times, and noted
that on the ride managers clipboard that there had been 43 recorded
finishers for the 50 milers - I only counted 42!

The weather was perfect for the horses - 70's with sunny, clear skies,
no humidity, and it didn't get dark until around 9:00 - and then the
temps were in the 50's, but still clear.

I also have to mention that I crewed for the sixth place 100-miler
(Norma House), which was a different view point, since I usually
ride! Crewing certainly puts a whole different perspective on
things! As a rider, I know what I want, when - so......I will treat
my crew with a whole lot of new respect from here on in, because now I
know how hard they work to get that stuff exactly where I want it!
