[endurance] sportsaddle question - fixed!

Thank you everyone for your response to my question regarding saddle
slippage with the sport saddle/equalizer pad/neoprene girth. I replaced the
girth with a fleece model and Voila! No slippage while riding and he's no
longer "girthy". His elbows also seem to be healing and he's not breaking
gait as often. Now I feel really bad for letting this go on for 2 months!
With the fleece girth I do not experience any slippage due to uneven water
bottles in either cantle or pommel bags.

Now, how the heck do you guys manage to get on with your girth loose? I'd
like to ride with a looser girth, but with a 16hh horse that doesn't stand
next to fences/rocks...

Thanks for everyones help
