Liniments, braces and poultices are all a great idea for your equine
athlete.

We found that for a poultice the ABC product simply works best. Not only
does it have high quality clays but also other herbs/natural products to
sooth strained tendons and ligaments. It goes on smoothly, we wrap with
waxed paper or brown paper, then overwrap with polo bandages and leave on
overnight. I do this no matter what distance we compete!

ABC's Sore No More is also a great liniment, diluted in water, for sore
muscles or legs.

For a good rub down I also recommend Mineral Ice. I use this on legs,
back, butt, anywhere I think it's needed. Dr. Judith Shoemaker
recommends this product as well as all the ABC products.

Test these products on yourself in small quantities. After applying the
ABC Poultice I found that my slightly arthritic hands felt much better,
ditto with Mineral Ice.

Since I have begun routinely applying poultice post ride we have had
absolutely no windpuff problems/swellings the next day! And this is on
older horses for whom you might expect some swelling!
