Hi! Sorry this reply is so late...

My advice is: Don't buy the Roper's! They may be ok for some people and
for short term riding. But I HATE mine! They make my 2 littlest toes
fall asleep, and are just plain uncomfortable for long periods. I
compared my Roper's with a pair of the Miller's "heels down". And the
Miller's are much softer and more flexible. The Roper's are very stiff.
I only wear them when I going to ride at the arena, and I don't want to
look dorky in my hiking boots ;-) Someday, I'll get a nice pair of
paddock boots or tall boots to wear for that.... Everytime I say that I
ride in hiking boots, I get somebody telling me I shouldn't cuz it's
dangerous. But my cheap hiking boots, are the most comfortable &
practical riding shoes I have. Yes, they do have heels. No, they don't
get stuck in my stirrups.

Good Luck!
