"Hay" guys. I have sold my horse to someone down in Santa Barbara. I am
driving her down myself and need as much additional help on this issue as I
can get.
First off.
I am coming from Portland on I-5 and I need to know how I find Stables to
board my horse.
I need to know as much advice as you can provide when it comes to trailering
in the hot days of July.
How long do you guys really drive before pulling over and giving your horse a
check?
How often do you let your horses head drop to clear the nose?
What should I expect from the stables I stop at?
And what type of first aid, etc...should I take along?
any stories that will help me would be greatly appreciated.
What about shipping boots, blankets, hay etc..?

P.S. if you want to keep this topic off of the discussion line you can e-mail
me direct at Scooby1068@aol.com
Happy trails ahead guys.
