[endurance] Anyone use a vosal with a martingale?

I don't want to bring up the topic of the use of vosals again, but I am
wondering if anyone uses theirs with a martingale, or if there is any
reason not to. Does a martingale interfere with the way a vosal works? I
have found the use of a martingale neccessary with my mare (she it a real
head swinger - left to right), and the martingale reminds her not to do
this while cruizing down the trail. I have periodically tried not using
the martingale but as soon as I don't have it I need it. I'd like to get
the bit out of her mouth on occasion, and wish to try a vosal. Any
thoughts?
