The Equithotic Sneakers are just GREAT. We have been using then since Kirk
invented them. I stayed with these shoes during the R and D phase. ALL the
bugs are out of them now. They just work... I used then on the OD100. Plently
of shoe left after..I get about 2 settings sometimes 3 about 250 miles of
competition plus training. Of course if the the trail is rough the mileage is
less. Our guys really know the difference. They move out on rocks and
hardpack.. the best thing is the blacktop roads.. they come off the trial hit
the road at speed.. no slipping I can trot or canter down the hard top with
out a worry.. However must watch out for the really slip tar road..We have
also noted less post ride leg problems.. filling etc...
Now the bad news.. We are riding NATRC in the SE... CANNOT use these shoes in
NATRC.. lousy rules about foot protection.. one rule that needs changed, also
cannot use EZ Boots or pads in NATRC.. the ONLY trial riding sport that does
not permit the rider to protect the horse... argument is we are going too
slow to cause damage..HA!

Anyway if you ride other then NATRC and want to get more safe miles without a
hassel, use these SNEAKERS.

We are using the Slypners..because of the NATRC rule.. these are legal..SO
far they are working on one horse. Trick is the shoer MUST NOT ding the
mating rim..
We also are runing 4 HIND shoes.. narrow arab foot.. appears to work

Will be going to OD50.. will be using std shoes with full pad-SHOCKTAMERS.
Not enough time to get the Sneakers installed.. no more NATRC until Aug..
We MAY put on the Sneakers on Monday IF the shoer thinks he can do it..risky
Takes a bit of effort the first time a shoer installs them. We use a SIDE
grinder.
Grind the shoe slightly larger then the trimed foot. Drill the holes.. nail
on the shoe, then grind the shoe to fit the foot..yes while on the
horse..its the noise that bothers the horse, not the grinding.. worked great
once they get use to it...

We do still retail the Sneakers. Current retail price is $40 expect that to
increase.

Try them your horse will go great.
