o>
o> I had given Mr T 2 bute the night before to ease his obvious
o> discomfort. Last night we decided to ride him, at a walk only,
o> with the old Sharon Saare saddle. I rode Kasey (very jolly) and
o> Odie came along for the "toodle".
o>
o> On the blacktop he showed only a slight "heaviness" in the right
o> fore--left fore now looked normal. No heat or swelling in either
o> leg. At a slow trot, he eventually traveled sound.

You drug the horse, to remove the signals that something is wrong, then ride
him, and wonder why the illness is still there when you have removed the
symptoms? Or am I missing something obvious?

o> After about 15-20 minutes he started to fuss, toss his head and
o> generally misbehave. Kevin got off because we weren't sure if he
o> was just being naughty (lay off a very fit horse and see what
o> you've got!) or if something was bothering him.

Well, the painkillers can't last forever, if the problem is still there.
