Help,
my horse has always been kept on a dry lot, but this year she is in an
incredibly lush grass pasture. My question is: What do I feed her when I go
to my next race?Do I feed grass hay or alfalfa? Do I need to mix them? What
ratio? I AM SO CONFUSED! I have never had to think about this before. She
grazes all day and I do not need to supplement the pasture with any grass or
alfalfa. She does get a three grain mix with 1 cup corn oil and 1 cup rice
bran plus supplements. Any insights will help.
