I never used to think anything of worming and riding the ponies normally, but
then we got into horses and competition. I was startled when my vet. said I
should leave them a couple of days after worming. Things go on inside and must
involve all the circulation and digestive tracts at an abnormal level. There may
even be internal damage to heal? I worm mine when the farrier comes so it is
easy to remember the date!
