[endurance] OD journey/need a place to stay

Well, it looks like my little journey to ride the OD trail is getting
longer by the day - I think the trip is going to be long enough to require
an overnight stay along the way instead of doing it all in one day.

(Now, let's see - I'm gonna drive ~14 hours each way, spend mega $$$ on
gas, food, etc, and take 31/2 days vacation for a measley 12 hours
(potentially tho hopefully NOT) of riding? Gee, maybe that's why my spouse,
friends think I'm nuts <VBG>)

I think a stopping point for us would be in the Bristol, TN (or is it VA?)
area on the way up - haven't decided yet for the way back - whatever 6 or 8
hours is down I-81 is from Front Royal on Sunday June 9. Anyway, I am
looking for a place to overnite on Wed., June 5 - probably not arriving til
pretty late.

Any endurance folks in that area that wouldn't mind two people, one dog,
and one horse camping on their front lawn for the night? :->.

Any other suggestions about where to overnite with a horse (campgrounds?
barns along the way? where else??) or long distance hauling (over 8 hours -
which is as far as I have gone) *greatly* appreciated.

Email me privately if you like so this doesn't clutter the list (tho I
think it's *pretty darn* related to endurance ....driving....er, I mean,
riding:->). Thanks.
