Hi Helen,
I just read in "Mike Plumb' s Horse Journal" (letters section) that dishwashing
soap is about as effective as the products that you have to pay a lot for. You
might want to try it because is non toxic and cheap. A friend of mine built her
fences with tightly stretched wire fencing from the ground to the top of the top
board. She has been pleased that her fences still look really good. Good luck.
