Hi there!

US-riders are weight in pounds (lbs)
Europeans in kilograms
(1lbs = 0.45359 kilograms)

US-trails are measured in Miles
Europeans in Kilometers
(1 Mile = 1.6093 Kilometer)

US-temperature is measured in Fahrenheit
European in Celsius
(32 degrees Fahrenheit = 0 degrees Celsius
212 degrees Fahrenheit = 100 degrees Celsius
-/- 40 degrees Fahrenheit = -/- 40 degrees Celsius)

But US-horses are measured in hands and inches
Europeans in meter and centimeters

and that's where I get lost. HOW MUCH INCHES OR CENTIMETERS IS A HAND?
(1 inch = 2.54 centimeters, that's what I know)

Need help!
