Hi folks,

I haven't had time to correspond lately, but couldn't pass this one up.
Why? Because some little horses are *really* big horses with stumpy legs...

Kadance is only 14 hands tall, but his shoulder, heartgirth and haunches
are the same size as macho 14.3 Shatirr's, and his size 1 feet are sturdier
then 16.2 Cammies size 00. He's got really good bone, and he carries me
like a large horse. He's much more comfortable packing me up a mountain
than my other three, larger, horses. He's a Ferrari, little car, big engine.

I'm a good-sized rider, and almost didn't take this horse because he was
so short. My advice? Look at the whole horse when you evaluate. Sometimes
a good conformation and a big heart more than makes up for short legs. And
some small horses don't feel small when you ride them.
