Suzanne, 31/2 yrs. ago I had to sell my arab mare that was built more like a
QH rather than an arab and she did not like endurance. She had been trained
as western pleasure. I could not or would not ask a horse to perfporm in a
sport It was not built for or did not like. I couldn't enjoy it either if I
knew my horse was miserable. The fun of endurance is both horse and rider
having fun together , anyway to make a long story short, the day I took her
to her new owner I cried so bad I think I embarrased them and everyday I
didn't see her out back I felt sick. The only cure was to get another horse
and fast . I spent hours on the phone, driving, looking till I found the one
I have now. Ofcourse it's not the same relationship I had with my other horse
but that's becuase it's a different horse and get along good in different
ways and we enjoy endurance together. Whatever the reason for selling your
horse is, Im sure it is a good one and alot of thought went into it. You
feel sad now but you will later on realize it was the right thing to do.
Suzanne there IS ANOTHER HORSE , out there that has your name on it, all you
have to do now is find him/her. Linda and El Sareei
