I have a chainsaw that I carry in my cantle bag down in one of the corners.
It fits nicely. It is a chain (like on a real chainsaw) coiled up in a can.
It also has 2 wooden handles. The can is about 2 1/2 inches wide. They
don't weight much either. The handles have hooks on the ends that attach to
the chain. Then you stand under or over the branch you want to cut and pull
the chain back and forth.
Cabellas camping catalog or Bass Pro Shops catalog carries them. They are
$16.99.
