hello,

According to my anatomy instructor, Canine teeth is the "real" name for
those little teeth in the bars of a horses mouth. Wolf teeth is the "lay"
term. You wouldn't believe how many different names horse folks have for
horse parts (Cannon for Metacarpus bone, splints for small metacarpal
bones, coffin for phalanx 3, and so on forever). I had a terrible time
last year keeping track of the real names for things I have known about for
years in our horsey jargon.
