Shannon: The vet I had my horse checked out with because he drags his rear
toes told me that his daughters arab jumper had titanium shoes and they were
so strong that when it was time to change them there was hardly any wear and
(I believe the nails were also titanium) the farrier took half the horses
foot off removing them. However perhaps a more contienciou farrier that
clipped nail ends off could have done a better job, her didn't comment on
