[endurance] water supply

I may end up riding some this season without my crew, so I will need
to carry more drinking water than I normally do. At the moment I am
using an Ultimate Torsopak that holds one sports bottle (20 oz, I
think) and pick up water frequently from my crew. I know that this
one bottle won't be enough without frequent refills.

I am considering using the CamelBak water system - a mini-backpack w/
a baldder inside and a tube over the shoulder to sip thru. Has
anybody used this? How did they like it? Which style did you like?
(several models seem to be available)

I am not fond of double water bottles on a waist belt since they feel
so bulky. I have long legs but a short torso - the bottles usually
hang low & interfere w/ the cantle of the saddle. Are there any
waist packs out there that carry the bottles more to the side (away
from the cantle) but don't put the bottles into your arm pits?
