The very best thing I've found to prevent any leg rubbing is fleece
stirrup leather covers - I've seen them for English leathers as
well as Western fenders. Some just cover the leathers, some
have a flap that extends all the way down to the stirrup. You
can even ride comfortably in shorts with these! Australian Connection
and Sportack both carry them. Very nice!
