I'm surprised to hear that your Parelli halter is causing problems. We
use them all the time on our boys (one is an arab gray with "thin"
skin) and though they may rub a little the first time or two, it
doesn't last. They do come in all kinds of materials, however; some
much stiffer/rougher than others. Also, be sure to wash the halter
frequently. Salt buildup can be a real killer.
