[endurance] cooling and horse color

What effect does the color of your horse have on cooling? A dark
horse will radiate more heat and therefore if the desire is to cool internal
heat which is the case at the vet check, then a dark horse is better. If you
are out in the sun a white horse will reflect more heat and absorb less than
a darker horse. So what you want is a black horse at the vet check and a
white horse out on the trail in a hot day.
I think theory tells us endurance riders, go with the DARK HORSE.

Just a thought;
