Hey Wendy... Magnum and I won't take that personally! Actually
he has *tons* of personality. Being well handled with lots of
attention as a youngster makes the ex-racers I've met very
people oriented. Beliefs like "no personality" give these very
athletic horses a bad rap.

They are not the "natural" endurance horse that the Arab is, but
a lot of them can do the job. And they are fun to have around.
Besides... an Arab is the easy way... and for some reason I've
never done things the easy way! ;-)

I love spending hours on the trail with Magnum. I figure that it
costs the same to finish in 9 hours as it does to finish in 5 ...
that means I'm paying less per hour!
