The Sport Saddle is unique in its design & I'll let Genie SS respond as
to the particulars. The saddle survey has shown that this saddle can be
used for many body types, although "very sway-backed" wasn't common, and
many rider types (feathers to heavies). It does not seem to interfere in
the horse's way of going. This model has thousands of collective miles
now. While I don't have an absolute number at hand, it is the single
most popular saddle reported by the survey respondents (to date).

The primary concern was amongst heavyweight riders regarding the cumulative
effects of sitting with that much weight directly on the back. This
was an especial concern for CTR riders who may do considerably more
walking. The posting trot and 2-point position at the canter will of
course reduce the amount of time those seat bones are in contact with the
saddle/back.
