My Appaloosa Sir Revel will eat anything that he sees me put into my
mouth. This past weekend at the Witch Dance ride, he and I fought over
my chicken sandwich. I won, but it was a close race! He had to stay
overnight at the vet school one time for an eye problem, and the vet
students were amazed when I spent my lunch hour sharing my lunch with
him--roast beef sandwich and french fries. He got more than I did.
I have a three year old Ara-App filly that will practically mug you for
beer. we have a picture of her turning up a Longneck Bud Light! She
will eat or dring anything, but does seem particularly fond of beer. We
have to warn company not to give it to her!
I always know at a vet check if Revel is not feeling himself if he
doesn't try to get whatever it is I am eating. Never mind that he has
food in front of him, that is simply not good enough for him:-).
These horses--gotta love 'em!!!!!!!!!!!!
