Betsy,
I can show you how to make this "army knot" around a horse's neck. An old
buccaroo showed me how (he actually traveled by covered wagon when his family
moved when he was 3 years old. He spent his life working with horses - he's
in his 80's now - probably has forgotten more than most of us will ever know -
Neat, huh?) Anyway, if you have a fax #, email it to me and I can send you
a diagram of how to tie the knot - yep, the same way the cavalry did it!
