Y'all know I got a new truck--Ford crew cab dually--it's got all kinds of
electronic gizmos, including power windows. Well, before "The Storm", I
must have inadvertantly opened the back window, weather-side. My
neighbor came over this morning as we were attempting to chip the 2" of
ice off my Caravan to tell me the window was open. Yes, all the way
down. The back seat now has several inches of snow & ice. Worst part
was that we couldn't get into the truck--everything was frozen solid. We
used every ugly alcohol/methanol/100proof liquid in the house to de-ice
the locks & door handle. When I finally got in the back seat, the stupid
alarm went off. So there I am in the big red igloo going MEEP,MEEP,MEEP...
Finally got the window up.

It's snowing like gangbusters--couldn't even get into the lab this
morning 'cause the electronic card reader was filled with ice & I had to
trudge to a service entrance to get in. Maybe I should have stayed home....

Meanwhile Mr T has his little tin cup & he's raking it across the bars of
his jail cell (ah, make that his stall).... He didn't quite get the -20
below windchill explanation.

We were thinking about doing the OD-it's-cheap-so-don't-complain-50 on
4/13. What are the odds now?
