Well I'll give you my comments. Quit longeing at all!!! IMO no horse
should be longed until they are 5 or so. The circle can damage the joints
and cause problems that show up later in life. If she must be conditioned
for some reason then ponying on trails is safest. I'd also check the
feed, many halter horses are overfed and that predisposes them to OCD.
Back off to a good quality grass hay and balance the minerals.
