[endurance] trailers/suspensories

Does anyone know of any research regarding front vs slant trailering. I
have been
told that my possible high suspensory problems may be related to straight
trailering.
I have also heard that slant trailering can cause a whole set of lameness
problems.
Some say to let the horse travel as she will. When left loose in a box
situation this
mare travels facing the best view. Go figure. Any info anyone has would be
greatly
appreciated. A great endurance horse does you no good if she gets to the
ride and is
sore.
