I am conditioning my 5 yr old TWH for a limited distance or competitive
trail ride in April or May. If anyone has doen any of the following rides
and can give me info as to their difficulty (generally speaking, normal
conditions), I would appreciate it. Also, if anyone is trailering out to
either of these rides and would be interested in taking on a female rider
and well mannered horse, let me know - I live in Orange County. I promise
to be helpful, no trouble and help with covering expenses. Graham trailers
easily and well.
Basically, I can only do conditioning rides about 2x a week due to my new
baby, job, etc. So, though I want to do a ride this spring (our first ride
ever), we will be riding it slowly and safely. Aiming to finish, not place.
I want to make sure not to pick a particularly difficult terrain ride and
one that riders generally enjoy.
