Hi Teddy! Forgot to hold address on the lame horse- you might pass this on.
My 1975 14.3 bay mare has bowed her right front 3 times in her life, the most
recent being in 1987. With meticulous care she was back to work about a year
later, and wonder of wonders, she completed 32 roller coaster miles at the
Pendleton Challenge here in So Cal and was ready for her monday morning
lessons that same week - perfectly sound. I really NEVER thought she would be
able to compete again in her life - but she did, and with flying colours! She
certainly is the exception with bowed tendons, but...you never can
tell....maybe the horse has to tell you. Mine did! She's such a live wire now
I may have to breed and hobble her to shut her up! Later, gator! san >>
