I totally agree with Linda. I have found that arabs in general take longer
to settle in and also to trust their new human bosses. I have
have several come and go in the last 10 years and I don't thing I have
found one yet that takes less than 4 weeks(usually more like 6) to
settle down and not be skittish or shy in a new home. And that is
with trying to get them into a routine by making sure there are as little
changes as possible in that time. Once they seem settled in and
comfortable and have established their place in the pecking or then
I start trying to socialize them.
