Here in the Netherlands we don't have what you call "elevator rides".
Because of our system (completion of a minimum of 3 rides in each category
from I to IV - I = <25 Miles; II = 25-50 Miles; III = 50-75 Miles; IV = >75
Miles - before you enter the next category) you can figure out whether your
horse will be capable of completing a ride. Than there is the given that
our rides are almost never exactly 25 - 50 - 75 - 100 Miles there are a lot
of distances in between (20, 30, 35, 60, 85 Miles, etc.). I kind of like
this system, actually.

On trailers the following: During my visit to Texas (Poetry Fantasy Flight
50 Miles) I saw your trailers and I realy love them. But if you would like
to have a thing like that here on the road it will cost you a fortune!
- Special driving license
- Lots of costs on fuel (a gallon costs about $ 6.- overhere)
- Road taxes on our truck (Toyota Hi-Lux 2.4 Diesel) are already $ 1700.- a
year!

We have a two-horse "Brenderup"-type of trailer. No living, no kitchen, no
tackroom and after staying in a US-trailer during the ride I must admit, I
miss it. We sleep usually on the trailer floor or in a tent. That's OK, but
cold at the early and late season rides.
