I looked up the price of Strongid-C. From KV Vet Supply (they usually have
pretty competetive prices), it is $47.99 for a 25# container. Plus 27 lbs.
UPS charges. You would feed each horse 4 oz. per day every day. One
container would last one horse approximately 100 days (16 oz. = 1 lb.),
which makes the cost work out to approx. $14.37 per month per horse (plus
shipping). If you were feeding four horses it would cost you $57.48 per
month. I would consider using this product if it weren't so expensive, but
heck, I'm not spending anywhere near that to worm my horses every six weeks.
Does anybody else out there have any idea if this product is available at a
lower price that I quoted here?

Oh, you'd still have to you an ivermectin product twice a year, wouldn't you
- for bots?
