The only horse I ever heard of being attacked by a mountain lion was in a
barn in its stall. Someone had left a window open to the barn, and the cat
came in through the open window.
A mountain lion almost went into an acquaintance's house last year. She has
birds in her house, all of which were making a lot of noise. A man
remodeling her house had left the door open. He turned around to see the cat
about to enter the house. He ran over and slammed the door shut.
