Hey everybody -thanks for all the information and advice about
keeping warm! I definitely learned some useful information that I
will be applying this weekend - I plan to RIDE as much as possible.
It'll be nice having warm ears again!

A lot of you mentioned rump rolls - turns out that I'm making both my
horses one for Christmas (does anybody else get their horses
Christmas gifts?). I purchased 1 yard of Goretex, 1 yard of polar-
fleece (in really neat patterns), some nylon webbing, seam binding
and that was it. I was able to get colors to match each horse. All
I did was trace a pattern from half of one of my horse sheets, and
sew it together. I attach it to the saddle with nylon straps and
velcro. Total cost for each rump roll: About $22. I also had enough
materials left to make each horse matching HR monitor pouches, and
enough polar fleece to make a headband and neck gaiter.

Happy Trails! Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and that you all
get in a good RIDE!

Karen
