This is actually more common that I would
have thought. I know two horses (1 arab
and a 1/2 arab) that both have one foreleg
shorter than the other. The full Arab
was lame for a year and had torn his
suspensory before it was diagnosed and
corrected (By Diana Thompson I might
add... not that other woman). The vet
had said pad the *longer* leg which
only exacerbated the problem. I think
it also ended up being a low grade
club foot.

My friend and I agonized over several
lunches about whether or not to call out
Diana... spend the money... sort of
ignore the vet... it sounded like voodoo
at the time. Best decision she ever made.

The horse is sound.

ps... too bad that suspensory was injured
though. It happened late in the game and
could have been avoided had she known.
