Yes, I have used easyboots on rides!!

For years they were just "spare tires" and they worked fine to replace a lost
shoe and get me through a ride(some times in an all out race!!). If they are
fitted well, you should have no problem. I spray paint mine orange so I can
find them if they are lost and for the added assurance they are still there.
I can look down at a gallop and tell if it's still on.

I just this year used tham OVER shoes on the front because there was no ride
farrier, I had no pads on my horses, and the ride was rocky. I used the
"easyfoam" with them and they were great!! They stayed on so well I had no
worries. We trotted and cantered over and through rocks and streams for 50
miles. We took them off right after we were done. I wouldn't live without
them!!

Easyboots will be available in red sometime in January. I had bitched for
years to find a paint that stuck on for more than one ride (on or off-the
paint came off in my saddle bag, too).

I sell them if you are interested. Send me your name and mailing address and
I can send you a catalogue. You need to measure your horses' foot for the
right size. It's all listed in the catalogue.
