[endurance] need help on riding of pigeons

Alright gang I've got a weird one for you that I need help with.

My barn is infested with pigeons. At first it was just a nuisance
(bird !!?**!!@! everywhere), but now they are in my mares water all
the time and she isn't drinking. Plus my vet was out last night and
said they are big disease carriers.

Now my problem... I board in a very large stable (I'm not in my own
place), and it is poorly managed and from past experience I know
that my request of removing the pigeons will not be responded to.
If I take drastic action myself I'm worried about my neighbors
getting upset. Does anyone know of a safe, none distruptive way to
ride of pigeons - even if I could keep them out of my stall and
paddock area. Moving is not an immediate option for me. Believe me
I've done a lot to discourage them from hanging out (I think I even
killed one with fly spray - unintentionally).

HELP!!!

Thanks,

Jennifer and a thirsty Hoosannah.
