The saddle looks to me like it pinches the hell
out of that mare's shoulders but he swears she
has never had a sore back from it... even after
20+ miles and 4 hours up in the Sierras.
(not a lot for us types, but a good solid ride
for this mare)
Personally I don't have any experience with them,
but my general understanding is that people like
them.
